        GPS SmartSole Overview

The GPS enabled “Smart” insoles fit easily into most adult shoes and let you monitor the whereabouts of loved ones who may have a tendency to wander or at risk of becoming disoriented and lost. No need for them to remember to carry a separate tracking device, just slip on their shoes and go.

You can track their location through any smartphone, tablet or web browser, set up text and e-mail alerts if they leave or enter pre-defined areas on a map.

GPS SmartSole provides peace of mind for family members and those caring for the millions of people suffering from memory impairment which can be caused by Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury or other cognitive disability.

        How It Works

        Location Data

Every 5 minutes GPS SmartSole uses cellular networks to send location updates to the TruSense app.

        Location Monitoring

The location data is charted on a map that caregivers can access in real-time through the TruSense app.

        Customize Notifications

Set up custom alerts to receive notifications via email or text message regarding the location of your loved one. Set up pre-defined areas to know if they go outside of a safety zone.

        Amazon Echo Integration

Caregivers can use any Amazon Echo device to ask Alexa where their loved one is and get an exact location of their whereabouts.

        Too Long In Room

Set up a timing threshold to alert you when your loved one has been in one room for an unusually long time.

        Vehicle Out of Area Alert

You can use the TruSense platform to create a “Geofence” – that is, imaginary border drawn on a digital map. By equipping your loved one’s vehicle with a GPS tracking device, TruSense will let you know if they travel outside of this defined area while driving.

        Collision Alert

Receive a notification if your loved one gets into a collision while driving.

        Vehicle Location

Be periodically updated about your loved one’s location when they are driving. You can also access the TruSense dashboard to check their location on the digital map.

        Too Long in Room

Data collected by motion sensors placed in a stairwell can determine if your loved one has suffered a fall. When TruSense detects that they have entered the stairwell but are taking too long to get to the next room, you will receive a notification that they have possibly become immobile due to a fall.

        Voice-Activated Assistance

Using the Amazon Echo Dot, your loved one can call for emergency assistance instead of waiting for someone to respond if they suffer a fall.

        System Health

Be notified when the TruSense sensor batteries are running low.

        Assistance Requested

Be notified when your loved one attempts to contact the TruSense 24-Hour Emergency Response team.

        Door Open Too Long

TruSense can let you know when the front door has been open for an unusually long time, indicating that your loved one has possibly left the home without closing the door.

        Water Leak

TruSense’s water sensor can detect when an excessive amount of water begins to leak into a bathroom, basement, or any other room susceptible to flooding.

        Vehicle Out of Area

You can use the TruSense platform to create a “Geofence” – that is, an imaginary border drawn on a digital map. By equipping your loved one’s vehicle with a GPS tracking device, TruSense will let you know if they travel outside of this border while driving.

        Temperature Out of Range

TruSense can detect and alert you to extreme temperature changes in the home.

        Day Started/Not Started

Configure TruSense to alert you when your loved one gets out of bed in the morning, or if they stay in bed longer than usual. If your loved one begins to consistently start their day later and later, TruSense will notice this trend and point it out as a potential health issue.

        GPS Tracking

Optional GPS tracking devices assure that your loved one is traveling safely while outside the home or on the road. Customized alerts and the TruSense dashboard’s digital map can help to quickly locate your loved one in case of an emergency, helping them — and you — to maintain normal daily life.

The GPS Smart Pendant includes a “Call for Help” button for on-demand emergency assistance, as well as the ability for family members and other caregivers to receive instant status updates using their own Echo Dot from home.

        Contact Sensor

“Has the door been left open? Is my loved one not answering the phone, or are they away from home?” Contact Sensors allow TruSense to determine if a door has been left open too long. When used in conjunction with motion sensors, they also let you know whether your loved one is at home or away.

        Motion Sensor

Seniors who have 300+ minutes of light activity per week are 18% healthier than those who do not. TruSense uses Motion Sensors to track your loved one’s activity levels and compares them to their normal activity baseline. Over time, this can identify health trends that provide valuable insights.

        Away From Home

You may choose to be alerted when your loved one has left the home. This can be used to make sure that your loved one does not need any help in keeping to their daily routine or scheduled appointments.
